Nikki Cox is an expert in elementary learning and special education.   She has dedicated her career to working with students in urban areas and has an impressive track record of high student achievement.  She is passionate about using this expertise to help teachers reach all learners in their classrooms.  

Nikki joined the network in July of 2019.  Prior to joining our team Nikki led a team of kindergarten teachers at a charter school in Troy, NY and worked as the Program Director for an alternative school in Vermont.  She is professionally certified in Early Childhood (Birth-2nd), Childhood (1-6) and Special Education (Birth-2nd and 1-6) in New York State. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Skidmore College, a Dual Master’s Degree in Childhood and Special Education from The Sage Colleges, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Vermont.
